Simple, Natural, Happy and Beautiful, if anyone would ask Steve about Jane, these were the words he have always used to describe her.

Steve met Jane at his college. Jane was the happiest soul Steve ever saw in his life. It didn’t take too much time for him to fall in love for Jane. Jane grew up in a healthy family. Supportive parents, friendly cousins, financial solvency, all combined gifted her a dreamy childhood. Steve used to feel jealous when Jane used to say him about her family dinners. The family she told him was consist of 29 members. Cousins, uncles, aunties, their siblings, siblings’ children… and the list goes on. Steve has all the reasons to feel jealous, as the family he grew up in, everyone there was one trigger away to kill each other all the time. Steve and Jane matched very well. One thing Steve had realized that Jane is extraordinarily demand less. She knew when to start and when to stop asking. A simple pair of roses would make her the happiest person on earth. Jane used to turn everything into a joke and it always kept Steve surprised that how this little girl can be so much happy all the time. Besides, Jane was surprisingly honest. Honest to an extent which can rarely be found in this era. Jane and Steve got so much absorbed into themselves that they forgot there is anyone else left alive in this world. They felt confident together. Once they decide that they will move to a bigger city, for a better living. Didn’t matter how much they were absorbed into themselves; they were always aware about the dreams they used to peruse.

The new big city was full of lights, high-rises and full of opportunities. But all of this goodness comes with the equal number of badness. Both Jane and Steve put their steps carefully so that they don’t get eaten up by the darkness which were hidden beyond the lights. It was a happy new start. All the blessing of the universe was raining upon them. But there is say, “before every storm, there is a passage of calmness”. Something was about to go wrong……
